I was just looking to see what other of the world Marinnas (those would be the rare double N Marinnas) were up to and found your page. Fun site... perhaps I will see you at Worldcon some day!

That's all I'm going to say. Yes yes, I'm going to go read now.... Marinna 'Syrae' C. Lee replies: "I just re-read the entire X-Wing series again. Funny series, and a great time waster." | |
| 2 Jun 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...could you please draw picture people actually can see what it is?! I mean, not to be mean or so, but you defently need to practise on the faces, hands and bodies... i love your dragons, so if I was you, I would stick to the dragons and leave all creatures on two legs to the people who really CAN draw them... Marinna 'Syrae' C. Lee replies: "Thank you my anonymous friend, I agree. Most of the images I had up on this gallery were old, and some were VERY old. The Jedi Syrae image is the first "decent" humaniod drawing I did, and that was back during the summer of 2000. Since then, my humanoid art has improved a LOT. Even since last year my humanoid art has improved by a great deal, especially in the face, hands, and basic body structures. I can make more than a simple pose or two, and it is now at a much better level than many pieces I have seen on Elfwood. If I had not continued to draw humanoid creatures, then my art would have never improved. Practice may not make perfect, but it does generate improvement. Not only that, but Elfwood is an AMATEUR gallery system, and as such many of the artists and writers on this site are not very experienced. Amateur means the love of learning, and I love to learn through repetative sketching. So, please learn that we are all learners here and students of practice." | |
| 2 Jun 2003 | Katherine Blair | Loading...very nice..simple style not alot of superdooper junk to distract you. Smooth lines and good transitions...I really like your gallery Marinna 'Syrae' C. Lee replies: "Thank you. I see so many people that do tons of detail, but I just can't seem to drag myself to be that detail oriented, so I stay simple, sweet, and to the point. " | |
| 26 Mar 2004 | Marinna 'Syrae' C. Lee | Loading...New work has been posted and updated, and I've openned up a Fan Quarter account, because since the last time I updated, all Star Wars universe stuff, even original characters, are considered fan art. *shrugs* My appologies to the mod who was probably yelling at me to read the rules. I have, they've just been changed on me... | |
